- ¼ cup Warm water (110-115F.)
- 1 & ½ cups Whole-wheat flour
- 1 cup All-Purpose flour
- 1 package unflavored gelatin
- 1 cup Non-fat dry milk powder
- ¼ cup Corn oil
- 1 Egg
- 1 Can pet food -- (6 to 8 oz)
- ¼ cup Water
Few healthy tips:
- Most dogs like vegetables such as carrots, broccoli and green beans that are low in calories and high in vitamins and fiber. Cut the vegetables into small shapes and freeze them to make a quick crunchy treat.
- Try out fish that is healthy, delicious and low in calories. Just purchase fish filets and bake them at home. Store them in the refrigerator. When it is treat-time for your pooch, serve cold straight from the refrigerator or pop it in the microwave and serve warm.
- In a dehydrator, dry fruits or vegetables that your dog loves to eat. Keep them stored in a jar and serve as is. This also applies for boneless beef, chicken or turkey chunks. Serve a small portion first to let your dog get the taste of it.
